inclusion of wording in the County Development Plan to green light a new plan for a BLUEWAY on the River Barrow
Walking along the undeveloped part of Barrow it is apparent that it supported a wide variety of bees, moths, and butterflies and other insects . In contrast, the 'managed' part of the Barrow had very little insect life in it. Support biodiversity by keeping the Barrow the way it is. Protect the Barrow for future generations. Use it to teach children about biodiversity and the environment. It is unique the way it is. Paved it would be like a number of other sites with nothing special to offer.
