With regard to potential future developments of data centres or large industrial sites, please consider including policies that require such developments to:
- be designed and located in a way that supports the efficient use of excess heat for district heating
- be designed and planned to operate on a net-zero carbon emissions or climate positive basis.
- ensure water and electricity use do not place an unsustainable burden, or undue risk on the reliable and cost-effective supply of these utilties to the public.
