Chapter 9: Landscape and Green Infrastructure
We would like you to appoint a biodiversity officer for Carlow. This role would give someone the scope to create a plan for protecting and enhancing the biodiversity in County Carlow and it is obviously directly linked to climate change and climate justice. We would like to see some concrete goals and actions taken to protect our natural habitats and enhance and promote biodiversity. These goals should engage the people of carlow and there needs to be direct accountability in relation to whether or not targets are achieved.
