Iarnród Éireann is planning for a major expansion of rail as set out in our transformative 2027 Strategic Plan. We are planning to significantly improve and upgrade our commuter, regional and Intercity offering by providing additional capacity, higher frequency of service and improved journey times across our range of services. Our submission outlines the key improvements and issues IÉ would like the Council to consider in the update of the Development Plan.
