DRAFT CASUAL TRADING BYE LAWS 2026 FOR THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICTS OF CARLOW, MUINEBHEAG & TULLOW
Carlow County Council proposes to make Casual Trading Bye-Laws in respect of the Administrative and Functional area of the Municipal Districts of Carlow, Muinebheag and Tullow under Section 6 of the Casual Trading Act 1995, as amended.
The Draft Casual Trading Bye-Laws 2026 are available for public inspection at the following offices of Carlow County Council, by appointment only, between the hours of 9.30am to 1.00pm and 2.00pm to 5.00pm
Economic Development Unit, Carlow County Council, Enterprise House, O'Brien Road, Carlow
from Tuesday 10th February 2026 to Friday 10th April 2026.
Copies of the Draft Bye-Laws are available free of charge from the Local Enterprise Office. You may phone 059 9129 783 or email enterprise@carlowcoco.ie to request a copy.
Any person can make submissions or observations in respect of these Draft Bye-Laws on https://consult.carlow.ie/or in writing to the following address

Under S6(6)(a)(ii) of the Act the local authority will consider any submissions in relation to the the proposed bye-laws which are submitted to the authority in writing by any person within 2 weeks after the end of the period referred 10th April, 2026.
