This call is open for potential Artists/Facilitators to join a panel for Carlow County Council.
The aim of this panel is to enable artists /facilitators to make themselves available for possible opportunities that arise from time to time within Carlow County Council.

Carlow County Council Arts Office is inviting you to apply for our Artists/Facilitators panel.
This panel will be active for 1 year minimum, with the option to extend the lifetime of the panel if Carlow County Council deem it suitable. The aim of this panel is to provide a fair and transparent means by which artists/facilitators can be selected to take up on opportunities which may arise within Carlow County Council.

- Development of Arts Projects
- Commissions
- Guidance
- Professional Development
This opportunity is open to artists/ facilitators who can demonstrate:
- A proven track record of high-quality creative activities/ facilitation/ coordination
- An understanding of and experience in high quality artistic work/facilitation/coordination
- Strong interpersonal skills to connect with people/ audiences from various backgrounds and open to diverse perspectives within the community
- Excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines and fulfil commitments
- The ability to work on their own initiative or as part of a team
- Resourcefulness - possessing the ability to find solutions to challenges as they might arise

- We are particularly interested in hearing from artists who have experience working with diverse communities, seldom-heard voices, children and young people, older people and/or people living with a disability
- Other:
- The panel will remain in place for one year minimum with the option to extend the lifetime of the panel. This will be decided by Carlow County Council
- Application to join the panel is on a rolling basis
- Successful applicants will be offered Continuing Professional Development Opportunities including expert advise in the areas of finance/tax advise for artists, developing successful funding applications for artists and Eco literacy training for artists working with communities.
- Any offers of work/opportunities will be made to the applicant(s) deemed most suited to each specific opportunity
- Successful applicants will be responsible for all insurance and taxes which arise from any payment by Carlow County Council of the agreed fee including and without prejudice the generality of this provision, all income tax and VAT
- Participants who are hired for services will be paid through payroll and tax will be withheld at source
