Housing (Traveller Accommodation) Act 1998

 

In accordance with Section 9 of the Housing (Traveller Accommodation) Act, 1998, Carlow County Council, being the relevant Housing Authority specified under the 1998 Act, proposes to adopt a Traveller Accommodation Programme for five years for the functional area of Carlow County Council.

The Draft Traveller Accommodation Programme 2025-2029 is available for inspection during normal business hours from 16th July, 2024 to 2nd September, 2024 inclusive, at the following: -

  • Carlow County Council, County Buildings, Athy Road, Carlow R93E7R7
  • Tullow Civic Offices, Relief Road, Tullow. R93WP86

A copy of the Draft Traveller Accommodation Programme 2025-2029 is also available https://consult.carlow.ie

Submissions to the Draft Traveller Accommodation Programme are invited and should be made:

  • In writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Housing Department, Carlow County Council, Tullow Civic Offices, Relief Road, Tullow.
  • Emailed to allocations@carlowcoco.ie. Subject: Draft Traveller Accommodation Programme.
  • The online portal https://consult.carlow.ie

The latest date for submissions is 16:00 hrs on Tuesday, 3rd September, 2024.
