NOTICE OF MAKING A VESTING ORDER
Notice is hereby given that Carlow County Council (thereinafter called ’the Council’) in exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 17 and 18 of the Derelict Sites Act 1990 (as amended and extended by the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended), has on the 15th day of November 2024 made a Vesting Order whereby the derelict site described in the schedule hereto will on 11th day of December 2024 VEST in the Council in fee simple free from encumbrances and all estates, rights, titles and interests of whatsoever kind.
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that a copy of the said Vesting Order and the map therein referred to may now be inspected at the offices of Carlow County Council, County Buildings, Athy Road, Carlow, R93E7R7 and may be inspected there during office hours. A copy of the Order and map are also available to view online via the online consultation portal at https://consult.carlow.ie/.

ALL THAT AND THOSE the site and buildings at Court Place, Carlow comprised in Folios CW2001L & CW2002L situate on the corner of College Street and Court Place in the Urban District of Carlow being part of the Townland of Carlow and Barony of Carlow, comprised in Folio CW12532F situate in the Townland of Carlow, in the Barony of Carlow and comprised in Folio CW1188L situate to the East side of College Street in the Town, Parish of Carlow being part of the Townland of Carlow and Barony of Carlow being All of the Property comprised in Folios CW2001L, CW2002L & CW1188L of the Register of Ownership of Leasehold Interest in County Carlow and being All of the Property comprised in Folio CW12532F of the Register of Ownership of Freehold Land in County Carlow.
The official seal of Carlow County Council was affixed to the Vesting Order on 15th November 2024.
Any person who, immediately before the making of the above Order, had any estate or interest in or right in respect of the land acquired may apply to Carlow County Council not later than twelve months after the making of the said Order for compensation in respect of the estate, interest or right.
